Asmacare – Collaboration between HumanITcare and Gebro for the development of a digital solution in asthma

Summary:

Gebro Pharma, S.A. and HumanITcare signed a collaboration agreement in early 2023 for the development and subsequent commercialization of a platform for remote monitoring of asthma patients. The main objectives of this remote asthma monitoring are as follows:

For the patient and their environment: 

– Improve knowledge on the disease
– Increase treatment adherence

For the specialist physician:

– Optimize healthcare workload – prioritize visits
– Enhance proper patient follow-up

For public administration:
– Reduce waiting lists and non-urgent visits

This project was initiated through participation in a public grant promoted by ACCIÓ (Government of Catalonia)
